This Fall the staff at 5 Acre Farm will be hard at work preparing the site for our new hives. The hives will be placed in March and bees will be installed the first week of May. Check back for our progress.

Often in Spring a queen will leave an established colony and thousands of worker bees will follow her.  This is the natural reproduction process for bees to start a new colony.  Bees are generally very docile during swarming.  Please, do not try to kill swarming bees.  If you are located in Southwest Oklahoma call 5 Acre Farm and we will remove the swarm and install them in an available hive on our farm.  

 Our honey products will debut in September 2019! Our feature product will be Oklahoma honey but we will also have candles, soap, lotions, lip balm and other bee products. You will find our products at the Lawton Farmer's Market or you may purchase them from our online store.
